The theme for this year’s Calendar is “Mythology Mixology”, with each month unfurling seductive and sexy images of the acclaimed French-born actress exuding her timeless beauty in dreamlike settings tied into twelve of Campari’s most beloved and distinguished cocktail combinations.
“This year, those stories are closer to the heart of Campari than ever before and I personally feel very honored to have been part of that,” smiles Green, whose eclectic film and television choices post-“Casino Royale” have showcased her unique talents in such high-profile projects as “Dark Shadows”, “Camelot”, “300: Rise of an Empire”, “Penny Dreadful” and “Sin City: A Dame to Kill For”.
“For me, this project was about much more than simply producing a Calendar,” continues Green. “Every set-up was very different, very beautiful. Very much like a painting. And, for me, it’s such a classic brand, I was absolutely honored to be a part of it. It was about telling a series of stories in an imaginative, creative and beautiful way.”

Dressed in various haute couture fashion of bold crimson — reflecting that unmistakably vibrant red color of Campari itself — Eva Green’s chic glamour and unique éclat makes for a most memorable New Year’s toast to each month of 2015. James Bond fans can also rejoice by counting down the days to the return of 007 for “Bond 24”, now in pre-production and due in UK cinemas October 23, 2015 and North America on November 6th, 2015.
The highly-coveted Campari 2015 Calendar — lensed by world-renowned fine art photographer Julia Fullerton-Batten — is not available for sale, but rather a limited edition collectible restricted to only 9,999 copies internationally, gifted worldwide to select “friends of Campari.”
However, here’s a sneak peek to whet your appetite at what awaits the lucky few:
JUNE — CREATIVITY CAN’T BE PROHIBITED
Paris, 1927. After leaving the USA due to Prohibition, the legendary bartender Harry McElhone used its most contested spirit − bourbon − to create this drink. It is said that it is named after the first of its many fans, the editor of the magazine The Boulevardier.
THE BOULEVARDIER:
– 2 parts (1 oz) Campari
– 2 parts (1 oz) red vermouth (Campari
recommends Cinzano Rosso or Cinzano 1757)
– 3 parts (1, ½ oz) Bourbon Whiskey
Pour all ingredients into mixing glass with ice cubes. Stir well and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with lemon twist.
“The 2015 Calendar is a real testament to Campari as a brand,” says Green about finally seeing the finished product, “and all of the stories together in one collection just proves that no matter how old these recipes may get, there will always be a firm place for Campari within our contemporary world.”
She especially loves the retro ambiance of January’s layout (pictured below). “The Negroni shot, where I’m in a Vivienne Westwood courtesan outfit, has such a laid-back, romantic mood. It’s definitely one of my favorites.”
JANUARY — SEVEN DROPS THAT COUNT
Florence, 1919. It is said that, on his return from England, Count Camillo Negroni asked his favorite bar to prepare his usual Americano with seven drops of gin instead of soda. A legend was born and still continues strong today.
NEGRONI: 
– 1 part (1 oz) Campari
– 1 part (1 oz) Gin
– 1 part (1 oz) red vermouth (Campari
recommends Cinzano Rosso or Cinzano 1757)
– 1 slice of orange
Pour all ingredients directly into a rock glass filled with ice. Garnish with a slice of orange.
MARCH — AN ENCOUNTER THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING
Italy, around 1870. Campari bitter [ made in Milan ] came together with red vermouth [ produced in Turin ]. It is hardly surprising that the name MI-TO sounds exactly like the Italian word for “myth”.
